Healdsburg has many great restaurants. A good resource to pick out a restaurant
can be found here
.
Noble Folk is an ice cream shop you shouldn't miss. Lo and Behold is one of my current, favorite restaurants in town. If you've got a large enough bank account, people fly from all over for Single Thread, which grows its own ingredients - but expect $1,000 or so per person including wine. For a cheap, filling, delicious meal, Taqueria Guadalajara is my favorite of multiple great taquerias (best salsas you've ever had.) Nearby Geyserville is a village with three great places for food and drinks: Diavola, The Gun Club and Catelli's.
For groceries, there is a Safeway. Big John's is an independent grocer - pricier - with great options for picnics, a better hot bar, a great deli and a top-end butcher shop. Journeyman is a fancy butcher shop right off Healdsburg's central Plaza. Oliver's is nearby in Windsor and is one of the greatest grocery stores you'll ever find, with a wider array of kosher options. Shelton's is our local natural grocery store. We also have an incredible Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. If you're looking to save money or are into Mexican, then Casa del Mole and Lola's are my two favorite Mexican groceries in town.
